In a continuation of the shake-up that has occurred as a result of the Washington Post's expose on the problems at Walter Reed Medical Center, President Bush announced today that he would be creating "a bipartisan Presidential Commission to conduct a comprehensive review of the care America is providing our wounded servicemen and women."

Speaking on his weekly radio address, Bush said the panel will be tasked to examine the kind of treatment wounded soldiers receive from the time they begin medical treatment until they return to civilian life.

Members of the proposed panel have not yet been appointed, nor a deadline for their report set.
