Baghdad - Voices of Iraq

Falluja- Unidentified gunmen blew up a bridge in al-Amiriya district, southwest of Anbar's main city of Falluja, on Tuesday an Iraqi police source said.

Baghdad- At least 25 people were killed and 75 more injured in the blast that jolted Baghdad’s southwestern neighborhood of al-Aamil on Tuesday afternoon, a police source said.

Arbil- Four persons convicted of implementing a bomb attack were executed on Tuesday in the city of Arbil, a source in the Kurdistan region’s interior ministry said.

Hibhib- An Iraqi National Guard checkpoint came under synchronized attack by unidentified gunmen in southern Hibhib district, eyewitnesses said on Tuesday, noting that the attack left an unidentified number of causalities among the Iraqi forces.

Kut - Five bodies found floating in the Tigris River were fished out on Tuesday near al-Swirah district in northern Wassit, some of which were beheaded, a police source said.

Mosul- Three gunmen were killed on Tuesday in clashes with an Iraqi army force west of Mosul, the Iraqi army in Mosul said.

Diala– Eight U.S. service members were killed in two separate incidents in the northern Iraqi province of Diala, the U.S. army said on Tuesday.

Diala–Two service members were killed when a helicopter crashed in the north of Iraq, the U.S. army said on Tuesday.

Baghdad– At least twenty-two civilians were killed and 50 others wounded after a car bomb ripped through a central Baghdad outdoor market on Tuesday, an Iraqi police source said.

Baghdad– Unidentified gunmen kidnapped three foreign lecturers from the Iraqi finance ministry in eastern Baghdad on Tuesday, a security source said.

Salah al-Din– Two policemen were killed and three others wounded when an explosive charge went off near their patrol in the city of al-Shurqat, 80 km south of Mosul, on Tuesday, a police source said.

Mosul– U.S. warplanes pounded a residential area in Mosul wounding four civilians, a police official in Ninewa province said on Tuesday.

Basra– An intelligence officer was killed and three policemen were wounded in separate attacks by gunmen in Basra, a security source said on Tuesday.

Kirkuk – The Baaquba public hospital received 21 unidentified bodies on Tuesday, a medic from the Diala health department said.
