Islamic State of Iraq video display of I.D. cards of two U.S. soldiers kidnapped in Diyala, Iraq May 12.

The al Qaeda-affiliated group Islamic State of Iraq claimed in a video today that it executed two US soldiers who survived a May 12 attack on a US outpost in Iraq's Diyala province.

The 10-minute-41-second video, which is posted in its entirety below, includes images of what is alleged to be the night-time attack on the US outpost and the ID cards of the two missing US soldiers.

The Arabic-language writing appearing above the ID cards reads: "Bush is the reason for the loss of your prisoners."

The full video, with commentary, is available here.

ABC News reports that during the ten-minute video, the group claims the soldiers would have survived had the U.S. Army not done the search in such a way that included random arrests and humiliation of Muslims. The speaker in the video also said the bodies of the soldiers will be buried and not turned over to the US Army.

LauraMansfield.com reports that the image of the I.D. cards was part of a 10-minute Islamic State of Iraq video, which "included video of a masked man at a diagram board -- apparently the planning stage of the attack -- followed by nighttime video of an apparent attack, and al Jazeera video of soldiers searching fields. Images of what appear to be the missing soldiers' personal effects -- including Visa and Mastercard credit cards, a cross, $50 U.S. bills, and Iraqi currency -- are shown at the end of the video."
